I'm Alex. I build websites, brands, and content for therapists, coaches, and helping professionals.
Which means I'm probably talking to someone who is genuinely brilliant at what they do with their clients… but struggles to find the time and energy to do all of the various background tasks that come with creating and owning a business. Major CBF anyone? I feel you.
Here's the thing about therapists and coaches especially. You've spent years - probably most of your career - being trained to make everything about your client. Your feelings, your opinions, your mood, even parts of your personality, all irrelevant or dialled down in that room. It’s part of your ethical responsibility and it likely comes naturally to you now to put on that hat.
But then you have to switch gears and start promoting you and your services to strangers on the internet. You have to promote what makes you stand out. What allows potential clients to connect with you online. What makes you human amongst a sea of AI-generated corporate lingo. Talk about whip-lash!

I have a background as a Mental Health Nurse and I'm currently half way through my Bachelor of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Somewhere in between all of that, I fell completely in love with design.
Which means I'm one of the only designers in this space who actually understands your world. The ethics, the emotional load, the language, the boundaries - and can build you a brand that holds the weight of what you do.

Hey lovely human - I’m Alex, founder of The Content Edit Studio.
A little background: I've been designing websites and content for therapists, coaches and helping professionals for 5+ years. It started as a creative passion, a way to get all the ideas out of my head and actually do something with them. And then, because of all the amazing heart-led founders who needed design support, it turned into something I built a business around.
Outside of the studio, I come from a background in mental health nursing and I'm currently completing a Bachelor of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Heavy stuff, yes - but it gives me a really unique understanding of what your clients need, what builds trust, and how to communicate in a way that actually connects.
Which means when I work on your brand, I'm not just thinking about how it looks. I'm thinking about how it feels to the person on the other side of the screen.
My aim is to create cohesive branding and websites that actually reflect you and the amazing work you do. That builds trust with your vulnerable clients and that remains unique without being over the top.
